In this Cybersecurity Analyst role, you will be the site security specialist and advisor and will engage in all categories of Cybersecurity. You will work with our corporate security team to obtain access to all the current tools, policies, and guidelines. You will work with our application development team to test, analyze, and mitigate vulnerabilities in web and mobile applications. Our network and server team will work with you to secure and document on premise and cloud-based systems.

What will you do?

  • Maintain and refine threat models to inform and prioritize the risk management activities.
  • Manage and coordinate vulnerability scanning and penetration tests.
  • Collaborate with internal and corporate development, network, and security team to validate the security posture of multiple layers of environments from low-level physical to high-level application layers.
  • Coordinate between corporate teams and policies for internal applications and system projects.
  • Research potential solutions and manage set up of proposed solutions in line with corporate policy.
  • Investigate reported vulnerabilities and risks to qualify and confirm findings and work with functional teams to resolve them.
  • Use strategies, scripts, configurations, or other manual procedures to reduce security risks across cloud services, servers, and network devices.
  • Manage security solutions, including firewalls, DLP tools, CASB's, and AV/EDR systems to maintain and improve configurations and policies that reduce security risks in line with policy.
  • Maintain documentation of all systems and activities to support internal and external audits.

Who will you report to?
  • This position will report to the Data Services Manager
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Intermediate level understanding of computer security concepts including Network Security, Application Security, and Incident Management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 Years in IT Security environment.
  • A moderate understanding of networking concepts and protocols (such as DNS, SMTP, FTP, etc.)
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in cloud security preferred.
