Required Skills:

Software Engineer, iOS Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, design, create, modify, and/or test software applications or systems for various mobile software services.

  2. Work closely with product and design teams to build new and innovative application experiences for the iOS platform.

  3. Implement custom native user interfaces using the latest iOS programming techniques and development tools.

  4. Build reusable iOS software components for interfacing with our back-end platforms.

  5. Analyze and optimize UI and infrastructure application code for quality, efficiency, and performance.

  6. Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires review of a variety of factors.

  7. Work independently, use available resources to get unblocked, and complete tasks on schedule by exercising strong judgment and problem solving skills.

  8. Master company development standards from developing to releasing code in order to take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity.

  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products.

  10. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and continuously improving skills and knowledge in iOS development through ongoing learning and training opportunities.

  11. Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field.

  2. Requires completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in the following:

    1. Object-oriented software development
    1. Building complex applications for the iPhone, iPad and other iOS based products using Objective-C, Swift or C++ with the iOS SDK
    1. Building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques
    1. Multithreading programming and mobile memory management
    1. One of the following programming languages: Objective-C, Swift, C, C++
    1. Building large-scale infrastructure applications
    1. Relational databases and SQL
    1. Linux or Unix
    1. Algorithms.

Public Compensation:

$179,782/year to $200,200/year + bonus + equity + benefits
