As an LVN at Yoakum Community Hospital, you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities and support services under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will be responsible for demonstrating competency in all procedures within your scope of practice, effectively communicating with patients and their families, and documenting all nursing interventions and patient responses according to standards of practice.
We are looking for candidates who are able to maintain composure under stress, function as patient advocates, and actively participate in continuous quality improvement activities. If you are a team player who is willing to accept delegated tasks and abide by our hospital policies and procedures, we would love to hear from you
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Vocational Nursing
- Licensed by the Texas Board of Licensed Vocational Nurse Examiners
- Minimum of one (1) year LVN experience
- Current CPR certification
