Job Description: The Associate Financial Analyst combines finance and information technology knowledge to support the Financial Analyst in the development, implementation and auditing of business plans, financial cost models and processes to support the Information Technology investment decisions that drive positive returns for the organization. This position reconciles and details IT contract costs, budgets, month-end journal entries, monthly reporting to management on budget performance and variance analysis. This job also includes the support of financial analysis of vendor offers for contracts based on UPS requirements in the competitive bid process. The desired Associate Financial Analyst possesses a bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, accounting, or economics or the equivalent in education and work experience. Excellent communication/presentation skills and advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite with strength in Excel are essential. For Internal Candidates Only: This job is a grade 10D.
