As the Senior Supply Chain Specialist, you’ll work directly with management to address all aspects of material pricing, including identifying lead times, vetting suppliers IAW FAR and DFARS, and supporting Final Management Reviews. This will entail utilizing your strong attention to detail skills to prepare and provide material files that are current, accurate and complete. You must be able to work and succeed in a fast-paced, deadline driven proposal environment while demonstrating strong presentation, communication, team building and leadership skills.

  • Acts as liaison between the Program team, other functional areas and suppliers
  • Support continuous improvement activities to drive material commonality and cost, schedule and risk reductions in proposals
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Interacts with suppliers and QA to resolve quality issues
  • Working with management to address all aspects of supply chain management, including procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability
  • Participates on proposal evaluation teams in fact finding, technical evaluation, and cost/price analysis
  • Supports the overall business goals to reduce cost, improve quality, and ensure compliance
  • Coordinates material estimating activities
What you bring to the table:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree without work experience
  • Ability to understand relevant procurement practices and principles, including quality processes, counterfeit parts, and other compliance requirements such as federal, state, Federal Acquisition Requirements/DFAR, and local laws
  • Solid analytical and negotiation skills applied to increasingly complex price analysis strategies
  • Sound understanding of ERP/MRP systems and procurement strategies
  • Works on a diverse range of low to mid-level complexity problems
  • Works under limited direction

Note: The compensation information listed is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules. It is estimated based on what a successful Colorado applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Colorado or perform the position from Colorado. Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation.

If performed in Colorado, this position has a salary range of USD $60,000.00/Yr. - USD $70,000.00/Yr.
