The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses, creating effective treatment plans, and maintaining patient confidentiality. The role involves providing positive encouragement to patients and utilizing training to aid in healing, recovery, and functional independence. This position also includes examining patients, implementing treatment plans, and daily execution of care plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree, Doctorate preferred
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice
  • Completion of state regulated CEU requirement
  • Valid CPR License
  • Experience with EMR software preferred
  • Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to patient success
  • Basic computer skills

Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and recording patient care data
  • Preparing for evaluations and administering tests and measures
  • Establishing treatment plans and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
  • Providing education/training to patients and support systems
  • Overseeing support staff
  • Promoting the company in the community through presentations
