Promontory Club is looking to fulfill a vacancy for a Home Services Housekeeper - Full time.

The position of Home Services Housekeeper provides cleaning services in private homes and Promontory rental cabins. The Housekeeper will maintain homes to the highest quality of cleanliness and follow all cleaning protocols provided by the Home Services Director. The Housekeeper is responsible to ensure that all owner requests or issues are resolved as quickly as possible by your own actions or with the help of other Home Services personnel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the cleanliness of all homes are up to Promontory standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service to Members and associates.
  • Clean all homes that are assigned to you by emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning windows, cleaning kitchens, cleaning restrooms, making beds and doing laundry.
  • Understand the use of chemicals and proper amounts of chemicals that are provided for use by the home owner or the Home Services Department.
  • Report any broken equipment or safety hazards to the Home Services Director.
  • Responsible to complete all home cleaning checklists and turn in to the Home Services Director at the end of each shift.
  • Responsible to maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries and unsafe work practices to Director of Facilities. Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Other duties as assigned by Home Services Director.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Promontory Development functions on a seven day per week basis. This position may be required to work different shifts, including holidays and weekends, to accommodate the changing needs of the business. The number of hours worked each week may vary to meet the changing demands of the business and may require more or less than 40 hours per week. Schedule is subject to change.
  • There may be occasions where it may be necessary for this position to serve as otherwise directed or needed to help maintain the effective and efficient operation of Promontory Development. This assignment will be at the discretion of the Home Services Director. Housekeepers must be flexible as schedules are subject to change based on the needs of Promontory.


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred; must be at least 21 years of age; must have a valid driver license with a good driving record and the ability to be added to Promontory's vehicle insurance; must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: One to three(1 - 3) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred; must have a high attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment all while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

WORKING KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED ON JOB: Abide by Promontory policies and procedures, work independently with little supervision, be courteous and helpful with Promontory Club Members, employees and maintain a positive attitude at all times.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs exerting up to 75lbs of force occasionally to move objects both horizontally and vertically; must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time; must be willing to work various hours, nights, holidays and weekends.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Wages start at $18.00 to $22.00/hr and will be commensurate with experience upon employment.
