Position Summary:
The Senior IT Associate serves as a strategic leader, aligning technology solutions with business objectives to drive operational efficiency and competitive advantage. Reporting to the Vice President, this role leads the development and execution of IT strategies, oversees the IT Help Desk platform, and manages technology resources to support the organization's growth and success. With a focus on innovation, collaboration, and compliance, the Senior IT Associate ensures the delivery of high-impact technology initiatives and exceptional service to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategy in alignment with company's goals and objectives.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects with established timelines and budgets.
- Manage IT resources, including budgets and technology assets, to optimize operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify technological needs and develop solutions that enhance business processes.
- Complete systems and data assessments and conversions, setting up hardware and software as needed.
- Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficiency, data security, and compliance.
- Provide technical assistance and skills training on computer systems, software, and other IT-related tools.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the organization.
- Monitor and report on IT performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee the IT Help Desk, ensuring user requests and questions are resolved in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain relationships with key vendors and service providers to meet IT needs.
- 5+ years of experience in IT management or a related role, with a proven track record of strategic planning and execution.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying and training technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Skilled in Microsoft Applications including Excel, SharePoint, and database management/property management software (preferably Entrata).
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management, including tracking and monitoring progress, meeting deadlines, and overseeing project implementation across multiple assets or geographic areas.
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
