Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Department: Behavioral Health

Reports To: Director of Social Work & Behavioral Health

Status: Full-Time, Part-time

Primary Purpose: The Licensed Clinical Social Worker promotes well-being through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental illness.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Gathers and analyzes information on client through observation, interviews, self-report inventories, group discussions, and/or formal assessments.
  • Diagnoses and applies appropriate treatments for behavioral and mental health disorders.
  • Collaborates with the client and/or family members to develop plans to positively manage and respond to barriers challenging one's cognitive, behavioral and emotional overall well-being; assists clients with developing healthy choices and outcomes through various evidence-based practices, psychoeducation and psychoanalysis.
  • Participates, facilitates, and documents the treatment plan for client and/or family with behavioral mental health disorders.
  • Assists clients in developing new or strengthened communication skills and methods.
  • Provides weekly reports of feedback and observations to the Director of Social Services
  • Identifies and provides appropriate psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and/or families.
  • Collaborates with clients to develop post-treatment plan.
  • Refers client to specialists for further treatment as appropriate.
  • Develops and maintains accurate records regarding progress, evaluations, and any further treatment recommendations.
  • Drafts and submits necessary paperwork to insurance companies.
  • Maintains compliance with ethical codes and standards.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Conducts ongoing needs assessment for staff-training purposes and assists in the implementation of in-service training programs.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Accuracy in interviewing, observing, diagnosing client and developing effective treatment plans. Highly developed ability in the administration, scoring, and interpretation of formal assessments.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates professional maturity and ethical integrity necessary for assuming professional responsibilities.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks/objectives in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated skills in consultation and being a team player.
Education and Experience:
  • Masters in Social Work
  • Current state license for Clinical Social Work.
  • Two years recent clinical experience required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting of at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Pay Range: $37.31 - $43.50 per hour
