Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY
The
Physical Therapist works with patients to restore and promote optimal physical
function.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
®
Performs
patient evaluations.
®
Determines
functional and attainable goals.
®
Develops
and implements appropriate treatment.
®
Monitors
patient progress, adjusting treatment accordingly.
®
Provides
education to the patient and caregivers.
® Other
duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
® Bachelors of Science Degree
or higher in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association
accredited Physical Therapy program required.
EXPERIENCE
® Previous Physical Therapy
experience in a hospital and/or outpatient clinic setting is preferred.
CREDENTIALS
®
Must
have a current, valid Wyoming Physical Therapy license and must be in good
standing with the Board.
® Must
have current, valid Basic Life Support credential (BLS), or obtain within the
first 60 days of hire and must maintain credential throughout employment with facility.
