Echocardiography Sonographer

MLR is partnering with a respected healthcare system to find a skilled Echocardiography Sonographer for their Cardiology team. This role offers an opportunity to deliver high-quality echocardiography services while ensuring exceptional patient care in a professional and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain professionalism and provide excellent service to patients, visitors, physicians, and colleagues.
  • Greet patients, confirm their identity, assist with procedure preparation, and explain the process and expectations.
  • Position patients accurately for imaging and inform them about the procedure.
  • Select and apply appropriate technical factors for imaging based on patient characteristics and pathology.
  • Capture and process high-quality, interpretable images.
  • Perform Adult Echocardiography and Stress/Echo tests with precision.
  • Maintain work logs, collaborate with physicians on protocols, and provide preliminary reports.
  • Adhere to system policies and procedures to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Echocardiography Sonographer Requirements:
  • Experience in adult echocardiography and stress/echo tests.
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program.
  • RDCS and ARDMS Certified.
  • BLS Certified.
