Provide comprehensive primary care within the regulatory guidelines set by the State of California and Rural health Clinic Code of Federal Regulations including performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and prescribing and minister medical treatments and medication; collaborate/supervise with the nurse practitioner/physician assistant in order to plan and coordinate patient care. Determine routine medical orders. Participate in the development, execution and annual review of the written policies/procedures covering the services provided; participate in annual review of patient health records and utilization review studies of the Clinic services. Maintain confidentiality of PHI and ensure patient's right to privacy. Obtain a health history and access the stated health of the patient in order to determine health care needs and document findings in the medical record.
