Due to growth, our client is excited to add aBenefits Specialistto their Group Insurance team, specifically supporting Employee Benefits. This role will work closely with the Account Managers and Account Executives.

Responsibilities:

·Assist in managing and coordinating various aspects of employee benefits administration.

·Gather and organize vendor and client information for marketing purposes.

·Prepare and send Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to carriers.

·Create and review proposal data and spreadsheets for client presentations, ensuring accuracy.

·Handle routine client service tasks, including claims, enrollments, and terminations.

·Coordinate the implementation of new benefits plans and updates to current plans.

·Maintain client communications, such as open enrollment materials and employee benefits guides.

·Review benefit plan summaries and carrier documents for accuracy.

·Conduct audits on billing, enrollments, and deductions.

·Assist with compliance-related projects, including 5500 filings, wrap documents, and COBRA renewals.

Qualifications:

·Prior experience working for an insurance brokerage/agency (preferred)

·Experience in employee benefits (preferred)

·Excellent organizational, time management and multitasking skills

·Proficiency in MS Excel (required)

·Strong work ethic, flexibility, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
