Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Cardiac Ultrasound Echo Tech

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, Thurs/Fri/Sat

Length: 13 weeks

No Call; infrequent rotation, expected only 1-2 shifts for the assignment

Requirements:

  • 3+ years recent Adult Echocardiogram Sonography experience
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
  • AHA BCLS
  • Epic experience very helpful
  • Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program strongly preferred
Other:
  • EMR - Epic
  • Responsible for diagnostic cardiac or vascular ultrasound that results in providing the cardiologist with measurements and accurate images of cardiac structures in order for the physician to provide accurate diagnosis
  • Assists the physician with studies and aids them in proceeding with complex procedures to decrease potential associated procedural risks including: procedures in the (OR, Hybrid lab, Cath lab and CAD) to include TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement), SAVR (Surgical Aortic Valve Replacement), Tandem heart, Lariet procedures and pseudoaneurysm compression
