Ophthalmic Hospitalist Opening in Greenville, NC _x000D_Raleigh 86m_x000D x000D_Seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Ophthalmologist to join our expanding ophthalmology program in Greenville, NC as an Ophthalmic Hospitalist. _x000D x000D_ Employed_x000D_ Opportunity available due to programmatic expansion_x000D_ Medical Center is a tertiary referral center with a large population of patients with complex ophthalmic pathology._x000D_ Hiring providers of all specialties for a robust multi-specialty practice and plans to develop a teaching program on-site. _x000D_ There is a large hospital based and local optometrist and ophthalmologist-based referral network with few other retina specialists in the community._x000D_ Candidates with an interest in resident education and residency program development are encouraged to apply._x000D_ US residency/fellowship training required._x000D x000D_ Highlights _x000D x000D_ Opportunity for academic appointment at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank_x000D_ Provide patient care and education in an academic medical setting. _x000D_ Responsibilities included diagnose, treat and manage diseases, injuries and disorders of the eye, and associated structures, primarily in the inpatient, and ED settings_x000D_ Work with current faculty to teach trainees_x000D_ Competitive Compensation and Comprehensive Benefits include: Relocation, Paid Vacation, Sick, & Holidays, Malpractice/Tail Coverage, 401k matching/457, Medical, Dental, & Vision, Disability & Life Insurance. _x000D_ For eligible candidates: loan repayment, sign-on bonus, income guarantees, and residency/fellowship paid commitment stipends.
