Agile Project Manager

The client provides information technology (IT) services, including business outsourcing, infrastructure technology, and application services. The application service offered by the company includes application development, maintenance, and support. The markets served by the company are financial services and insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, government, transportation, communications, and consumer and retail industries.
Rate Range: $35-$40/Hr
Job Description:
- We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Release Train Engineer.
- As a Release Train Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the Agile Release Train (ART) and coordinating the delivery of complex IT Application Releases.
- You will work closely with Product Owners, Agile Teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient release planning and execution.
- The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile principles and practices, along with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Years of experience needed - 5+ years.
- Facilitate the Agile Release Train (ART) processes and execution, including release planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and sequence features and capabilities.
- Ensure alignment and coordination between Agile Teams on dependency management and cross-team communication.
- Facilitate effective Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Work with stakeholders to identify and resolve risks and issues that may impact release delivery.
- Provide guidance and support to Agile Teams in the implementation and adoption of Agile practices and methodology.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure and track the performance of the Agile Release Train.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience working as a Release Train Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Proven experience in release planning, coordination, and delivery in an Agile environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
