Job Description: The CP Supervisor is responsible to ensure all surgical supplies, instruments and equipment are properly decontaminated, assembled, inspected, packaged, sterilized, and distributed. They are accountable to have supplies, instruments and staff ready for all applicable Surgical Service's needs. **This is a floor supervisor role, working along side the other staff/crew. Hours are from 3 PM to 11:30 PM** Scope Promotes mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, and abides by service behavior standards. Assists Manager with the development of departmental and staff goals. Manages human resources to assure quality services, scheduling, and promotes positive employee relation Directs Sterile Processing personnel in completion of job duties Role models for current and new staff. Proficient in all sterile processing department job responsibilities Acts as an extension of the Sterile Processing Manager by performing selected duties as delegated by the Sterile Processing Manager. Utilizes leadership tools in communication, including effective oral, written, and listening skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
