We are looking for a Powder Coating Technician who will apply the final high-end finishes to our aluminum fabricated products such as fire pits, water features and planter containers. All products are finished to fine furniture standards. Duties include powder coating, sandblasting, patina application and wash bay. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced, results focused environment where quality and accuracy requirements are high. Qualifications & Skills - Powder Coating Technician
  • Preference given to candidates with powder coating, sandblasting, auto body painting, or wash bay experience.
  • Experience in use of paint spray equipment specifically and/or powder spray equipment.
  • Quality Control knowledge with experience inspecting, testing, and evaluating powder and liquid coatings.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to use various safe chemicals and cleaning products effectively.
  • Previous manufacturing, finishing, general labor, automotive painting, or construction experience is preferred.
Responsibilities & Duties - Powder Coating Technician
  • Perform wash bay, powder coating, sandblasting, and patina application duties using tools.
  • Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
  • Ensure the quality meets or exceeds the company's standards.
  • Physical labor is a requirement of this position. Ability to work on feet all day and lift up to 75 pounds four feet in height.
  • Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization.
  • Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position.
Pay & Schedule
  • Monday - Thursday: 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM
  • Hours: May vary slightly due to business needs; mandatory Fridays as needed.
  • Base Pay: $18-$22 per hour (DOE) + $2.00/hour shift differential.
