This role involves research, design, and leadership, ensuring the successful development and deployment of critical systems. Key Responsibilities Research and Design: Develop electronic interface circuitry applications for product control, ensuring clear definition of equipment scope and content. Team Leadership: Guide the design team in producing electrical, schematic, interconnect, cabling, and assembly drawings, ensuring effective utilization of engineering expertise. Development: Create control applications for new commercial, domestic, and industrial uses, overseeing manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing to meet specifications and requirements. Project Management: Provide leadership in ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and performance criteria, establishing design criteria based on required codes and standards. Compliance: Review contractual content for technical and regulatory compliance, collaborating with internal and external customers to understand project requirements. Documentation: Document and communicate design changes to stakeholders, collaborating with the sales team to define engineering parameters for quotations. Support: Engineer components and assemblies for BOP control systems according to customer contracts and applicable codes and standards, participating in design reviews and providing technical support during testing. Quality Assurance: Review and approve engineering documentation. Requirements Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in designing control systems. Knowledge of hazardous area standards including ATEX, IECEx, and NEC. Understanding of ABS, DNVGL, and API standards related to BOP control systems. Experience with Rockwell Advance, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and/or GE Fanuc hardware. Certifications: CompEx training or equivalent certification is advantageous.
