Clinical Admission Nurse

Summary
We are seeking a Clinical Admission Nurse to take on the primary responsibility for completing the admission process, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. This role involves welcoming patients, coordinating communication with the family and healthcare team, completing initial plans of care, and ensuring all appropriate orders and treatments. Additionally, the Clinical Admission Nurse will initiate preventative measures, verify orders with physicians, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree preferred
- Current nursing license in good standing
- Minimum two years of varied work experience as a professional nurse
- Demonstrates skill in nursing practice and administrative performance
- Ability to assess and respond to patient and family needs
- Ability to lift, transfer, and move items or patients
- Ability to perform critical thinking and psychosocial assessment
