Our Opening and Your Responsibilities Mettler Toledo is seeking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer for its AM HUB location in Columbus, Ohio, responsible for the implementation and maintenance of manufacturing processes such as line efficiencies, material flow, and lean principals. As a Manufacturing Engineer you will work closely with Line Associates, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely launch of new products and maintenance of line projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Optimize work center layouts, material flow and processes to improve productivity and eliminate waste Champion Lean Manufacturing culture on the shop floor Provide root cause analysis support to eliminate disturbances Improve product through-put by reducing overall lead time Work with production teams to drive KPI improvement Manage logistics of product launch and phase out activities Monitor and improve operational processes Provide daily work center tactical support Maintain knowledge of best-in-class processes for product configuration and assembly Direct and implement lean and green activities to support MT Lean Culture What You Need to Succeed Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical engineering or related field is preferred Associate's degree in Industrial engineering or related field with 2 years of experience in a related field will be considered A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field is desired Lean certification is preferred Must have strong analytical skills Must have a good understanding of lean concepts and proper use of lean tools to support good business decisions Our Offer to You Medical, dental and vision care coverage and a 401(k) savings plan with company matching -all starting on date of hire Gym discount program if you elect our Aetna medical coverage Tuition reimbursement And, all the usual such as paid time off, flexible spending, short-and long-term disability, basic life insurance, business travel insurance, Employee Assistance Program, and domestic partner benefits Global market strength and worldwide leadership in weighing A brand name that is identified worldwide with precision, quality, and innovation Thousands of patents, design and innovation awards A commitment to extraordinary service on our state-of-the-art equipment About Mettler Toledo Working at Mettler Toledo means you are impacting the world in important ways.
