JOB TITLE: IT SYSTEM ANALYST

REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF SYSTEMS & APPLICATIONS

SALARY: RANGE 122

  • Four of more years' experience with software and system operations

Core Job Functions:
  • Develops, processes, and operates instructions for new and existing programs
  • Performs analysis of existing processes and applications
  • Analyzes user requests and provides appropriate solutions and support
  • Integrates third party applications with existing district applications including, but not limited to, the district's Business Services software and Student Information software
  • Develops interfaces and queries to relational databases that operate on various platforms for the purpose of creating new reports for stakeholders
  • Documents all new process and updates existing ones when upgrades are performed on them
  • Participates in meetings with stakeholders to gather a comprehensive list of business rules on new and existing applications.
  • Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization
  • Remains current on modern technologies and presents innovative ideas, best practices, and innovative solutions forward to improve upon the user experience
  • Provides training and support to all stakeholders on current and future software
