Quality Care Rehab & Autism Center (QCRP) is an outpatient clinic that provides Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and ABA Therapy to a primarily pediatric population. QCRP has 2 locations in Macomb County and we are looking for a self-motivated, experienced Medical Biller to join our team. We offer flexible hours, competitive wages based on experience, multiple benefits for full time staff, discounted tuition and programs through Capella University, employee referral program, and much more Position Responsibilities: Monitor the company's accounts receivable balances by identifying collection issues and contacting patients. Post electronic charges, patient statements, payments, notes and other related information to insurance plans. Work and communicate with peers, patients, and payers regarding accounts receivable. Verify CPT, ICD-10 and/or modifiers to accurately reflect documented services. Collect delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements. Submit insurance claims to payers and process rejected claims by sending an appeal and/or reconsideration letter. Verify patients eligibility, coverage, benefits and identify managed care authorization requirements. Assist reception in answering phones, checking in patients and handling day to day issues as needed. The ideal candidate will have the following: Min (2) years of experience in a fast-paced medical office environment. Preferred experience billing outpatient PT, OT, Speech and/or ABA ser. Working knowledge of Medicare and private insurance billing and reimbursement processes for Michigan. Background and knowledge of QPP/MIPS standards of care. Experience with Provider Credentialing a plus Customer service driven with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain professional and ethical standards of conduct. Must be comfortable navigating through a variety of insurance websites. Demonstrate a high level of integrity and ability to problem solve.
