This is a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position working on a Day shift in the inpatient rehab department at a medical center in Springdale, Arkansas.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Evaluating assigned patients and planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care.
  • Assisting physicians during examinations and procedures.
  • Performing various patient tests and administering medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
  • Promoting patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
  • Relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performing a variety of tasks.
  • Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Key qualifications to be considered for this role include:

  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Requires an associate's degree and is certified as a registered nurse. Prefer Bachelors degree in Nursing.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
