We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for a part-time role as a QA - Quality System Specialist to join our Quality Assurance team. This part-time opportunity offers a unique chance to contribute to the development and implementation of a state-of-the-art quality system. As a QA - Quality System Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the enhancement and implementation of our quality management system. Working closely with the Quality Assurance team, you will ensure that our products/services meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations. This part-time position is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in quality management and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality System Development: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to design and develop a robust quality management system aligned with industry best practices.
- Documentation and Compliance: Assist in the creation, review, and maintenance of quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality manuals.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the quality system and contribute to the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Training and Awareness: Support the development and delivery of training programs to ensure awareness and understanding of the quality system throughout the organization.
- Quality Audits: Participate in internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Data Analysis: Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of the quality system.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate quality requirements into product development and operational processes.
- Current enrollment in a relevant degree program (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of quality management principles and standards.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management standards.
- Previous experience or coursework related to quality assurance.
