COGNOS TM1 ARCHITECT

Contract to Hire

Work Location: Hybrid work in Jersey City, NJ

Hourly Rate: $70/hr. W2 for the contract period. Benefits available

Annual Salary Range: $130,000 range annually plus benefits.

ALTA IT Services has a contract-to-hire opening for a Cognos TM1 Architect with over 12 years of experience in developing and maintaining TM1 applications using version 11.2 or higher. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Cognos TM1 tools, strong skills in creating complex TI processes and web applications, and experience in implementing security measures. Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with finance modules like General Ledger are essential. Excellent communication skills are a must for effective interaction across the organization.

The role will support an IT engineering and consulting company on a large transportation program in Jersey City, NJ. Work is expected to begin in mid-January 2025. Sponsorship is not offered for this position.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in development and maintenance of TM1 applications using 11.2 or higher version by understanding business requirements.
  • Extensive hands-on experience Cognos TM1 (Perspective, Architect, Performance Modeler & contributor web).
  • Experience in development of complex TI processes/chores, build web sheets (Static and Active forms), web applications, rules and workflows.
  • Experience in setting up data, application, and object level security.
  • Experience in installation and configuration of Cognos TM1 and BI tools.
  • Expertise knowledge in writing SQL and any other scripting languages.
  • Experience in documenting functional and technical design.
  • Good knowledge of Finance modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Fixed Assets and so on.
  • Excellent communications, presentation skills with ability to interact at all levels of the organization on a regular basis.

Work Location: Hybrid work at Jersey City, NJ

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or related fields.

Hourly Rate: $70/hr. W2 for the contract period. Benefits available

Annual Salary Range: $130,000 range annually plus benefits.
