We not only offer Speech Therapy, but we offer Occupational Therapy as well. We believe in combining expertise with a passion for children. Our therapists work closely together to provide the best care possible for our Village. Our therapists examine and treat pediatric patients through our care plan and modalities, to help improve their daily lives.

Requirements:

Master's or Doctorate Degree in Speech Therapy

Valid Georgia License in Speech Therapy

Job Functions:

Meets the patient's goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results, determining treatment plans in consultation with physicians, and by prescription.

Assures continuation of the therapeutic plan by designing patient-specific HEP; and instructing patients, families, and/or caregivers in follow-up maintenance programs.

Administers therapy statements according to a treatment plan approved by the attending physician.

Evaluates effects of therapy treatments by observing, noting, and evaluating patient's progress; providing medically necessary treatment plans and modifications.

Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records according to accepted regulatory, corporate, and professional guidelines. Records daily treatment charges per corporate procedures.

Protects patients and employees by adhering to treatment location infection control policies and protocols and keeping information confidential per company and federal requirements.
