13 Week Assignment
Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM / Three 12 hour shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

About the Position:
  • Delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process.
  • Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.
  • Carries out functions according to medical center policy, mission, and standards of practice as defined by professional and regulatory guidelines.
  • # of Operating rooms: 7 suites
  • Cases: All areas of surgical specialties are represented, except open-heart surgery.
  • EMR: Paragon
  • Dress code: Hospital provided scrubs
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of OR experience - Required
  • Must be able to Circulate - Required
  • Must be experienced with Ortho, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro - Required
  • Trauma Level II experience - Highly preferred
  • Health system-wide profile standards
  • References NOT required.
  • A skills checklist for RN specialties is required (Form will be provided)
  • Michigan license verification is required for nurses / MUST BE ACTIVE
  • Certification Requirements: BLS (AHA)
  • Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
