Check us out at www.dsbrown.com and become part of our awesome team Position Summary Responsible for final assembly of high load disc (HLMR) and Versiflex Elastomeric (VEB) bearings, including packaging bearings for shipment. What you'll do Review bearing drawings and assemble bearings to specifications. Label bearings with job numbers, lot numbers and upstations as needed. Touch up coatings and apply epoxy grit as needed. Rim and repair VEB bearings. Skid, band and wrap bearings for shipment Label skids for shipment with job #, weight and skid number Document work performed, including time & materials, on labor report, skid sheet and in computer. Keep workstation clear and orderly Perform safety checks on equipment in area. Secondary Accountabilities In addition to the accountabilities listed above, individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the workload.
