Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday 35 hours/week during School Hours

Pay: $80-$90/HR

Location: Manchester, NH

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in our school-based programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Student Assessments: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Direct Therapy: Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy services, addressing articulation, language development, voice, fluency, and social communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Qualifying degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience: Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with assistive technology and speech-language software is a plus.
