Job description:
In your new role you will:
- Perform detailed process and device simulations to design, develop and optimize and qualify Si MOSFET technologies and products
- Develop virtual test-benches using advanced TCAD-based system simulation models for power conversion in AI, to optimize for interactions between technology and product application
- Drive continuous improvements in simulation methodologies to increase prediction accuracy and strive for first-pass experimental success
- Investigate and apply AI/ML techniques to optimization problems and implement new features into the design flow, such as integrating TCAD with SPICE
- Define experiments based on simulations, analyze device behavior, identify and debug device and process issues and propose innovative solutions
- Effectively collaborate and build strong cross-functional relationships with global teams. Mentor and coach junior staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Your Profile:
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or an equivalent field
- 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor field, with expertise in Si MOSFET and/or Wide Band Gap (GaN, SiC) device design, simulation, and fabrication methods
- Expert user of process and device TCAD simulation tools (e.g.,Synopsys Sentaurus) with a proven ability to develop advanced technologies and drive TCAD methodologies
- Solid understanding of power conversion topologies with proficiency in using SPICE simulators (Simmetrix, LTSPICE) to design and analyze power electronics systems
- Proficient in scripting, automation, and data analysis using languages such as TCL, Python, C++ and JMP
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a creative mindset to address technical challenges
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in guiding cross-functional teams

Wage Range that the Company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:
Minimum of $159,480 salary per year
Maximum of $210,868 salary per year
In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
