POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Rehab Therapies Clinical Manager and Rehab Operations Supervisor(s), assumes the responsibility for evaluating patients and developing an effective SLP treatment program based upon physical assessment, sound judgment and psychological sensitivity. In collaboration with management provides departmental oversight regarding daily staffing needs, new employee orientation, staff competencies and in-services. Maintains a high level of professional expertise and assumes responsibility for professional growth and development.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
M.S. Degree or Doctorate of Speech/Language Pathology and hold Certificate of Clinical Competence by American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Vermont State Licensure or eligibility required.
CPR Certification Preferred.
EXPERIENCE
3 to 5 years of clinical experience. Three to six months to be proficient in all phases of assigned duties.
