DEL-AIR Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration is a rapidly growing industry leader with seven locations serving Central Florida - Clermont, Davenport, Jacksonville, Melbourne, Sanford (headquarters), Sarasota, and Tampa

Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for supervising, scheduling and coordinating the work of plumbing technicians. Oversees the daily jobs and ordering of materials, providing quality control and ensuring plumbing code compliance.

Specific Duties & Tasks:
  • Perform and fully understand the requirements for all residential service, repair, replacement, and maintenance work.
  • Oversees the project/work site, ensuring safety standards are followed and quality work is being performed in a timely manner.
  • Implement and champion the company’s overall vision and core values.
  • Determines job requirements and procedures, and the required materials and workers, based on given specifications such as work orders or sales sheets.
  • Partner with the General Manager on the strategy for achieving the plumbing department’s financial targets.
  • Recruit, interview, hire and train technicians as required to meet workload demands.
  • Supervise and direct the technicians to effectively perform the duties as required to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor service vehicles to ensure they are in an acceptable condition to allow technicians to efficiently work out of the vehicle, and that an adequate inventory of parts and material are maintained.
  • Monitor and track all company tools.
  • Resolves problems and coordinates activities for the job through collaboration and communication with other management or departments.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
  • Responsible for special projects as requested by management and other duties/ responsibilities as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all Del-Air policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • At least 3-5 years of plumbing service experience in the field
  • Knowledge of State of Florida Plumbing Codes.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proven ability to effectively influence others and resolve client, project, and technical issues.
  • Willingness to acquire a Journeyman Plumbing License within a set timeframe.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Always obtain a valid driver’s license and able to meet FCCI auto guidelines to operate a company-owned vehicle.
  • Eligible to legally work in the United States.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
