Job Title: Allied Rehab Professional Job Specialty: Rehabilitation - General Rehabilitation Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour Day Shift (40 hours per week) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year acute care rehabilitation experience required License: Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license Certifications: Active BLS (American Heart Association) and NBCOT Registration Must-Have: Preferred experience with EPIC software Job Description: - Facility has 749 licensed beds and is a Level 1 Trauma Center with Magnet Designation.- Comprehensive Stroke Center environment.- Handle 8-10 patients per day in various settings such as general medical, neuro, trauma, cardiovascular/telemetry, observation, emergency department, and intensive care unit.- Support includes mentor, supervisor/manager, other rehab discipline employees, 24/7 hospitalist and respiratory therapy, rehab aides, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants.- Receive up to 1 week of orientation with a mentor.- Required to wear hunter green scrubs.- No artificial fingernails or extenders during direct patient contact; natural nail tips must be kept less than 1/4-inch long.- Must possess strong technical skills in evaluation and treatment in the acute care setting, discharge recommendations.- Work in a fast-paced environment with complex patients within multi/interdisciplinary teams.- Meet a productivity standard of 75%.Note: Specific location, facility, and other proprietary or confidential information have been omitted per instructions.
