The Opportunity

  • Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.
  • ATLS certification is required.
  • Emergency Medicine physicians with previous experience are required.
  • Current CA state license is a plus.

 

The Practice

Tahoe Forest Hospital – Truckee, California

  • Critical access hospital with 25 acute care beds and an 18-bed Emergency Department.
  • ACS-certified Level III Trauma Center, with seasonal ED census of 15,000 patients.
  • All sub-specialty backups available, onsite POCUS, and Vituity scribe support available.
  • High seasonal variation in census with significant sports-related injuries/polytrauma.

  • Twelve miles north of Lake Tahoe, Truckee is a small, family-friendly mountain community with access to year-round outdoor activities: skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, fishing and more
