Foundation Health Partners is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our highly experienced team at Porter Heart & Vascular Center, the only full-time cardiology clinic serving Interior Alaska and the Far North.
The Opportunity:
Join our dynamic team at the fast-paced, state-of-the-art Porter Heart clinic, where you'll collaborate with a dedicated and passionate group. This position offers diverse opportunities involving clinic care and inpatient/ emergency department coverage on designated weeks. Leveraging cutting-edge expertise and technology, you'll contribute to advanced diagnostics, short- and long-term management, and prevention guidance for various cardiovascular conditions. - Compensation: Starting at a base of $133,328, your compensation can be further adjusted based on experience. Additional opportunity to increase earnings through productivity. $40k sign-on bonus.
- Schedule: M-F outpatient clinic. 4 or 5 days a week. No call, no nights, no weekends. 7 weeks ATO, 2 weeks CME.
- Patient Panel: Outpatient setting offering patients short and long-term management of heart-related conditions.
- Team: Robust and collaborative cardiovascular team consisting of 3 interventional cardiologists, a vascular surgeon, and 3 other advanced practice providers. This position is well supported, both administratively and organizationally.

QualificationsNP MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess knowledge of clinical care and patient treatment as normally obtained through the completion of master’s degree in nursing.
Must be approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) by the State Board of Nursing by proof of license/certification.
Requires current RN license in state of practice. Must be certified to practice by the State Board of Nursing within a particular population as a nurse practitioner. Requires personal DEA license or must have prescribing and dispensing authority granted by the state board of nursing. Additional technical and professional certifications may be required based on type of nurse practitioner and scope of delineation document under medical staff services for an individual facility.
Exhibits an exemplary professional demeanor and interpersonal relationship skills.
Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications and database management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
DNP or PhD preferred. Current BLS certification preferred. A minimum of 3 years previous relevant experience preferred.
