Otolaryngology-Laryngology Opportunity- South Sacramento, CA

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a board-certified/board eligible fellowship trained Laryngologist to join a tertiary-level Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery department in Sacramento, California. This is a unique opportunity to join an established regional referral-based practice in laryngology as well as practice general otolaryngology in an integrated health-care system. Our facility features a state of the art laryngology suite with a complete array of Pentax equipment to support all diagnostic and therapeutic laryngeal procedures including office-based laser surgery. The laryngologist will join senior physician partner Richard McHugh, MD, PhD and enjoy the support of a speech pathologist well-trained in voice disorders and the support of laryngeal procedures. Additional dedicated Advanced Practice Provider support and MA support rounds out this complete laryngology team.
The nine OHNS physicians in the department provide a full range of services including general otolaryngology, otology/neurotology, endocrine surgery, sleep surgery, rhinology, and head and neck oncologic surgery. We work closely with our colleagues in maxillofacial surgery, orofacial medicine, plastic surgery, sleep medicine, and neurosurgery. Our medical center enjoys a strong affiliation with the University of California at Davis, serving as a teaching hospital for residents in many specialties, including one full-time OHNS resident.

Sacramento boasts warm weather and year-round recreational activities. The American College of Sports Medicine has ranked Sacramento as one of the Top Ten Cities on a Health and Fitness Index, and Sacramento has been called the "Farm-to-fork" capitol of California, boasting a strong, ethnically-diverse foodie scene. There is also an active artist community, including art galleries, museums, and music productions. The Sacramento is centrally located between the San Francisco Bay Area, with its coastline and urban attractions, and the outdoor mountain playground of Lake Tahoe. Other vacation destinations, such as the Napa Valley, Monterey/Carmel, and several national parks including Yosemite and the Redwoods and Sequoias, are within a half-day drive.
Full-time annual salary range is $424,685 to $437,820 plus additional potential incentives up to $42,740 .
Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available.
Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
