Quality Control Inspector

The Quality Control Inspector performs a variety of working level and technical duties as needed to assure the ongoing compliance with the quality standards and specifications in an assigned work unit, including but not limited to the production floor, shipping receiving and outbound inspection.

Schedule: 4x10's. Monday through Thursday (Occasional Fridays). 12pm to 10:30pm.

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will:

  • Monitors and logs all in-process product checks during the production process to ensure compliance to specifications.
  • Perform pre-operational checks
  • Perform First Article of Inspection
  • Ensure correct LOT # and where applicable EXP Date
  • Scale check and perform calibration if needed
  • Ensure proper line clearances are complete
  • Perform Burst testing to ensure product seal integrity
  • Work with production personnel including production machine operators to ensure products are produced according to specification
  • Address any OOC out of control situations that may occur as a result of deviations in the process
  • Ensure all paperwork and logs are filled out properly according to proper procedures and protocols
  • Ensure proper product Identification of product totes
  • Interfaces with QA to determine and implement corrective action in noncompliance instances
  • Basic receptionist duties
  • Releasing of finished pallets and finished goods
  • Inspection and releasing of all components from the vendor
  • Perform other QC duties as assigned
What we are looking for:
  • Ability to read, speak and understand basic English
  • Must possess oral / written communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Follow GMP standards and guidelines
  • Understand and apply information set forth in SOP's
  • Handle confidential information
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months to 1.5 years related Quality experience
