Description

Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Baltimore Booking and Intake Center located in Baltimore, Maryland.

Rate: $32/hour

The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Experience working in mental health preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift: Part Time, Night Shift, 16 hours/week
