Description The Pharmacy Billing Specialist is responsible to proactively audit, monitor, and analyze complex dispensing and charging information, processes and controls in order to ensure revenue integrity. Required qualifications: Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire or Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician upon hire or California Pharmacy Technician License upon hire or Washington Pharmacy Technician License upon hire Pharmacy Technician License in state of hire, and wherever care is delivered upon hire 3 years of Experience in health care or pharmacy billing, collections or medical claims processing. 3 years of Experience with computers in data entry/inquiry. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree Math, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field. 3 years of Work experience in as a pharmacy technician in specialty setting (e.g. long term care, infusion or specialty pharmacy). Experience with insurance/data inquiry systems. Experience using electronic medical records software. Why Join Providence?
