Disability Assessment Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to perform disability assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. You will review medical records and perform physical exams on each veteran, documenting your findings through a web portal. Though you will not prescribe medication or make determinations of disability, you will complete the necessary paperwork to assist in these determinations. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and have excellent time management skills.
- Perform independent medical assessments on 3-5 veterans daily
- Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to form medical opinions
- Hold an unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
- Meet credentialing requirements set by VA
- Interest in serving the veteran community
- Work in a clinical setting
