Job Title: Junior Estimator Job Description Plan, coordinate, and supervise industrial construction projects from inception to completion. Develop project timelines, schedules, and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations. Address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process, ensuring swift resolution. Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, providing regular updates on project status. Ensure adherence to all relevant building codes, standards, and regulations. Essential Skills Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 1-5 years of experience as a Construction Estimator. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and processes. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans. Proficiency in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to project sites as required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in safety and supervision in industrial and commercial construction. Project management experience in construction. Work Environment This is a corporate office in Rosemont with a mid-sized 'family feel' team of 45 employees. This position would be based 80%-90% in the office, with occasional job-site visits around the Greater Chicagoland area and possibly out of state if the project requires. The office setup includes cubicles for APMs, PEs, and PMs in the middle of the office, with surrounding offices for Project Executives and Vice Presidents.
