Role and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining Plans of Action and Milestones reports (POA&Ms), maintain a vulnerability assessment database, design, maintain data analytics for planning, trend analysis and sharing with Security Control Testing and Evaluation programs, and providing audit support.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for information and audit requests.
  • Develop and provide cybersecurity reports, upkeep/improvements to the master schedule.

Required Skills:

  • Vulnerability assessment analysis, POA&M evidence analysis, excellent writing skills, experience with NIST SP 800-53 Revision 5 publication and the assessment process, experience evaluating all of the security system documentation required for FISMA assessments, such as the System Security Plan, Configuration Management Plan, Disaster Recovery Plan and etc.
  • Experience in technical writing.

Preferred Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of appropriate NIST SP to include 800-53 Revision 5.
  • Technical writing expertise.
  • Experience with authoring cybersecurity policies and procedures.

Additional Requirement:

  • Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain an IRS Clearance
