POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures
EDUCATION
- Nuclear Medicine School graduate, required
- BLS, required
- ARRT or NMTCB certified, required
- Working knowledge of nuclear medicine technology principles and procedures.
- Working knowledge of radiation safety requirements for staff and patients.
- Skill in injection of radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedure.
- Keyboarding and the use of computer systems to process patient and department information,
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when conduction nuclear medicine procedures.
- Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position
