Confluent Kafka Platform Engineer
Max Pay Rate:

Key Responsibilities:
Work location is Irvine, CA (80% onsite) - 3 Days a week (Tues-Thurs) - Upgrade maintenance of Confluent Kafka platform from current version to latest release.
- Hands on experience with Kafka Brokers and understanding of underlying functionality.
- Hands on experience with Schema Registry and understanding of underlying functionality and understanding of underlying implementation and functionality.
- Understanding of underlying implementation and functionality.
- Good understanding of Kafka client Producer and consumer functionality. Collaborate among development teams, product Managers, operations teams and architect groups.
- Ability to design and implement technical solutions for the Kafka On prem and Confluent Cloud platform.
- Understanding of AWS cloud to support confluent Kafka on cloud.
- Developer SRE Experience Java Spring Boot, Python, Terraform, AWS.
- Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years with Confluent Event Streaming Platform (Confluent Kafka platform): Hands-on experience with KSQL DB, Hands-on experience with Kafka connectors.
- Minimum 6 years as a Developer/SRE Experience: Java Spring Boot, Python, Terraform, AWS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Apache Kafka
