Hospice Residence Aide - $2000 Sign-On Bonus Eligible Job Details Job Location Good Shepherd Community Care Hospice Residence - Wayland, MA Hospice Residence Aide (overnight) - This position is eligible for a $2000 sign-on bonus. This is an exciting opportunity for hospice aides interested in providing end-of-life care at a new 10-bed hospice facility. We are seeking for someone to: - Have an easy commute to our residence in Wayland. - Fill 12-hour night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am on weekends plus 2 weekdays. - Per diem positions are also available. Job Responsibilities:Provide bedside care to terminally ill patients residing at the hospice house following the established plan of care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive, courteous, and helpful attitude toward all patients and their families and a commitment toward exceeding the needs of our customers. Education, Skills, and Experience: Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant Current Massachusetts certification in good standing A minimum of two years prior experience in community health, long term care facility, oncology, or a related field preferred. Ability to be a team player and work harmoniously with patients, families, co-workers, and management.
