This job will entail conducting all administration duties for Department 841 (Electrical Maintenance). NOTE: The preferred candidate will be hired based on the experience level below starting at Technical Support Jr being the lowest level up to Specialist Support being the highest admin level. Technical Support (Admin Role) EDUCATION • High School/GED or equivalent (Required) EXPERIENCE • Tech Support Jr – No experience required. • Tech Support Assoc – 6 months of related experience (Required) • Tech Support – 2 ½ years of related experience (Required) • Tech Support Sr – 4 ½ years of related experience (Required) LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS • There is no Certification or Licensure Listed ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Technical/Admin Support: • Updates and maintains database, graphic, presentation, and spreadsheet programs including, but not limited to: Oracle, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Generates computerized documents, drawings, presentations, reports, charts, and graphs. • Interprets data and builds reports, forms, charts, tables, and graphs. • Converts documents from one platform to another. • Cross train employees in job related functions. • Maintains a high level of integrity on confidential material and confidential issues. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES • Accept ERO position as needed. • Accept outage position as needed. • Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access. ENVIRONMENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Environmental and physical requirements are subject to crouching, stooping, bending, twisting and/or lifting up to 30 lbs; ascending/descending stairs; sitting for extended periods of time; and spending considerable time in front of computer monitors. WORKING CONDITIONS • Overtime and alternate work schedules as needed. • Subject to callouts twenty-four hours per day seven days per week. • Travel may be required. • May be required to carry a phone. WORK LOCATION • Due to the nature of the work, this position requires work to be performed in the field and/or at the work site.
