Our newly renovated hospital provides services including ER/ICU, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology and Ophthalmology. Each of our specialty departments utilizes advanced technology to provide state-of-the-art diagnostics and advanced treatments and therapies to care for patients, such as onsite CT and x-ray, ultrasonography, echocardiography, ECG, telemetry and oxygen therapy. As a member of the VCA team, your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so they will partner with us for the lifelong care of their companion animals. Our hospital team provides an ideal setting to expand and develop skills in every area of our practice. We are currently looking for a full time employee to join our team working four days a week, weekends are not required. Job Responsibilities: Restrain all types of animals, sizes and temperaments for procedures, inductions and appointments Prepares, decontaminates and cleans operating room Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments and wrapping packs Prepare specimens; performs in-house laboratory testing and assists with radiographs Skills & Qualifications: Professional demeanor and appearance, excellent interpersonal skills, and a positive, friendly attitude Ability to plan, organize, make decisions and communicate effectively Able to handle multiple tasks at once and enjoys working in a fast paced environment with changing priorities Why Join The VCA Family?
