POSITION SUMMARY

If you are passionate about making a positive impact, we invite you to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will oversee the provision of personalized healthcare to residents and supervise caregivers to ensure their well-being. Daily responsibilities will include directing nursing aides, providing prescribed nursing care, updating care plans, performing administrative duties, and handling emergency procedures.

  • Directing the day-to-day functions of nursing aides and support staff
  • Providing or monitoring direct, prescribed nursing care to residents
  • Updating care plans as needed and notifying physicians about changes in residents' conditions
  • Performing administrative tasks such as documenting assessments and ordering supplies
  • Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents
  • Handling emergency procedures like CPR and notifying family members in the event of death

WORK EXPERIENCE, CREDENTIALS AND EDUCATION

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current RN license in the state of Tennessee
  • Current CPR Certification

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including possible overtime, shift changes, and weekends
  • Frequent lifting of objects up to 50 pounds may be required
