**Patient Population: ** Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis, Acute and Chronic Kidney Injury, Managing LVAD patients during Dialysis, Managing Complex Medical and Surgical patients during Dialysis.

Patient Ratios : 1:1-4 Depending on Acuity

Number of Beds: 11 beds

Department Specifics:  72% BSN rate, 24% certification rate, 24/7 coverage with night nurse and on-call, diverse staff population with experience ranging from Novice to 20+ years of experience combined.

Registered Nurse Requirements

  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program

  • 2 YEARS OF DIALYSIS EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED

  • License/Certification

  • RN – Registered Nurse

  • BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)

  • ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)

  • Successful EKG Competency validation (within 30 days of hire)
